My nephew (who is a returned Peace Corps volunteer from Tanzania and Cameroon) suggested your site to learn some conversational words to share with a priest from Tanzania (Mwanza) currently serving in Anchorage, Alaska (where I am now) This has been really helpful. Thank-you Annette Alleva
Africa Schoolhouse Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization that is a public charity for U.S. tax purposes. We provide opportunities for education in remote areas of Africa. Our pilot project is in Ntulya, Tanzania where over 500 children are eagerly awaiting their first local primary school.
“I was so moved when the elders of Ntulya asked me to help them find a way to build a school for their children. From my first visit in 1994, I have had a deep bond with the people of this healing compound. Knowing this community has forever changed my life and the way I look at the world.” —Dr. Aimée Bessire, our founder/director
